Julie Bromberg is a Deputy Project Director for BLH Technologies, Inc. She provides scientific and technical support to the Tobacco Control Research Branch (TCRB) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Her main responsibilities include assisting TCRB scientists in conducting research on various tobacco control issues and writing and editing health communication and education materials. Julie is a trained health education and health communication specialist with six years of public health research and education experience. She has a solid understanding of behavior change and social marketing strategies, which are essential for designing effective health messages and health education materials. She also has extensive writing and editing experience, including creating plain-language health education materials for the public, website content, journal articles, and other scientific reports.

In addition, Julie has experience in designing and implementing both qualitative and quantitative research and is skilled in many aspects of research including developing surveys, coding, data management, and statistical analysis. She received a master's of health science degree in health education and health communication at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Prior to her current position, Julie was a Cancer Research Training Award Fellow in TCRB.
