"Where are they now?": Following up with past BRP fellows
Updated January 2019

Current Title
M.P.H./M.B.A. Candidate
Johns Hopkins University

How has your BRP fellowship influenced your career?
BRP has influenced my career in a multitude of ways. Without NCI, I likely wouldn't have had the opportunity to attend Johns Hopkins. I learned so much at NCI and it gave me the opportunity to lead scientific publications and work with top researchers, something I also don't think I would have been able to do elsewhere.

Describe a favorite memory or two from your fellowship experience.
I had the opportunity to work with April Oh and the former Surgeon General, Vivek Murthy which was a life-changing experience. I also always had such a good time at the DCCPS outings at the park and the holiday gatherings!

Describe your current position, your current organization, and what you do.
I am currently a second-year M.P.H./M.B.A. (Master of Public Health/ Master of Business Administration) candidate at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Along with being a full-time student, I work part-time as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion at the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
