Ingrid Gooch was a Cancer Research Training Award Fellow in the Basic Biobehavioral and Psychological Sciences Branch of the Behavioral Research Program from 2016-17.

In 2016, Ms. Gooch earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. Her research with the Geriatric Assessment Research Lab (GARL) at Hood primarily focused on older adults. During her time in the lab, she analyzed data from a community-dwelling sample of older adults. She presented her findings at the Southeastern Psychology Association conference in Hilton Head, South Carolina, in the spring of 2015. Ms. Gooch also completed an honors thesis that explored the underrepresented paternal role in the effective management of ADHD symptoms.
