How has your BRP fellowship influenced your career?
My experiences as a BRP Fellow greatly accelerated my career trajectory. The mentorship, the national/federal level experience, the excellent minds willing to share their knowledge. All of these things expanded my skillset and gave me the confidence to excel, and to reach higher, in my current career.

Describe a favorite memory or two from your fellowship experience.

  • Being part of U.S. Surgeon General VADM Vivek Murthy's support team on a trip to Philadelphia, PA
  • The weekly BRP fellows lunches organized by Anna Gaysynsky!

Describe your current position, your current organization, and what you do.
I currently work as a Communications & Marketing Manager in Advancement Communications at the University of California, San Francisco. I develop communications across multiple platforms to further UCSF's mission to advance health worldwide. I started at UCSF in 2017 at the Center for Vulnerable Populations where I managed all aspects of the center's public-facing communications, including content and strategy development.
