Kristen Mangold, M.S.W., is a Public Health Advisor in the Tobacco Control and Research Branch (TCRB) within the Behavioral Research Program (BRP) of the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS).

Ms. Mangold most recently served as the Senior Public Health Advisor in the HIV/AIDS Bureau at the Health Resources and Services Administration, focusing on the intersection of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program and the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Prior to that, she served in multiple capacities in Atlanta's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including in their Divisions of HIV/AIDS Prevention, Adolescent and School Health, and the Office of the Director. Ms. Mangold's areas of expertise include policy development, budget formulation, and program management.

Within TCRB, Ms. Mangold is responsible for budget planning and tracking, managing contracts within the program, as well as facilitating activities with other NIH institutes and external federal agencies.

Ms. Mangold is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a MSW focused on health social policy and evaluation.
