Staff: Riante Jones, MA

Riante Jones, M.A., is a Program Support Assistant in the National Cancer Institute's Health Communication and Informatics Research Branch (HCIRB). He serves as lead administrator as well as travel specialist and works with the branch to support outreach activities to scientific and public audiences.

Mr. Jones previously worked in the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences' Healthcare Delivery Research Program and the Division of Cancer Prevention's Lung and Aerodigestive Group (LUACRG). Mr. Jones has a bachelor's degree in communication and a master's degree in integrated marketing communication. His advanced degree in integrated marketing makes him a perfect match for working with the branch in a content area that is focused heavily on the use of multiple media outlets for communicating about cancer with the public.

Mr. Jones was born in Washington, DC, and raised in Maryland. He attended Gwynn Park High School in Brandywine, Maryland, before attending Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas, on a full football scholarship.
