Danny Ramin is a Cancer Research Training Award (CRTA) Fellow in the Office of the Associate Director in the Behavioral Research Program (BRP). He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cornell University in May of 2015.

While at Cornell, Danny was involved as a head research assistant in the laboratory of Personality, Attachment, and Control (PAC) and helped supervise and run experiments concerning delay of gratification, the effect of social exclusion on mental processes, and first impressions. He was also involved in a field practicum course supervised by a clinical psychologist that provided play therapy for at-risk children in the Ithaca area. Coming to NCI, Danny is interested in gaining more experience in research data coding and collection, as well as learning about the mechanics of psychosocial processes that are important in cancer prevention and also treatment. After his time at NCI, Danny hopes to attend graduate school and obtain his PhD in clinical psychology.
