Dannielle Kelley, PhD, MPH
Cancer Prevention Fellow
Dannielle Kelley, Ph.D., M.P.H., is a Cancer Prevention Fellow in the Tobacco Control Research Branch. Dr. Kelley's program of research focuses on the role of health communication across the cancer control continuum, particularly as it relates to tobacco use. Her research interests include understanding the communication environment and audience segments to inform message development and testing for cancer prevention and control, as well as how marketing, misinformation, and social contexts affect patient and caregiver experiences and health outcomes.
Dr. Kelley earned a master's degree in public health from Virginia Commonwealth University. She earned a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). During her time at UNC, she was a pre-doctoral fellow in the Center for Regulatory Research on Tobacco Communication.
