Amy Caplon, M.P.H., is a Public Health Advisor in the Office of the Associate Director (OAD) within the Behavioral Research Program (BRP). Ms. Caplon is a member of the BRP communication team and is a project manager for various initiatives within BRP and across the division. Ms. Caplon began her time at NCI as a Pathways intern. After completion of her Master's program, Ms. Caplon became a designated Presidential Management Fellow (PMF) within NCI's Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS). Her time as a PMF allowed her to rotate through various programs within DCCPS, along with an external rotation to CDC, before returning to BRP.
Ms. Caplon earned a Master of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences and a certificate in Regulatory Affairs from the Yale School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health with a minor in Human Development and Quantitative Methodology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
