Larae McCarty is a program specialist supporting the Behavioral Research Program's Health Communication and Informatics Research Branch.
In 2021, Ms. McCarty served as a program specialist in the Program Planning and Analysis Branch in the Division of Clinical Research, Integrated Research Facility at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). Prior to joining NIAID she served as staff assistant in the NCI Division of Cancer Prevention for the Nutrition Science Research Group for 11 years under Dr. Harold Seifried and Dr. John A. Milner.
Ms. McCarty has a certificate of completion from the Academy of Business Careers Business School. To further her career at NCI she holds certifications from courses completed with Federal Acquisition Institute Training Application System, Defense Acquisition University, NIH and recently completed courses at Strayer University toward an associate degree in business administration.
