Emily Grenen was a Cancer Research Training Award (CRTA) Fellow in the Office of the Associate Director (OAD) in the Behavioral Research Program (BRP) within the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). While in the OAD, Emily will be responsible for coordinating the Crosstalk Lecture Series, Spiderweb of Knowledge Journal Club, as well as other division activities. In addition, she worked on multiple projects under the mentorship of Bill KIein.

Emily graduated from Kenyon College in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish. She previously served as a Pelontonia Fellow at the Institute for Behavior Medicine Research at The Ohio State University where she investigated the roles of diet and depression on inflammation and fatigue in cancer patients.

Current and past BRP mentors include William Klein and Rebecca Ferrer.
