Behavioral Research Program (BRP)
Donna Hopkins is an Extramural Program Specialist in the Behavioral Research Program (BRP) within the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS). She is the Basic Biobehavioral and Psychological Sciences Branch (BBPSB) communication liaison and project manager for sponsored scientific meetings and conferences. Ms. Hopkins works on Programmatic communication planning and assists in grants management and organization. She also trains new staff and submits all updates on the BRP intranet page. During her time in DCCPS' BRP, Ms. Hopkins has worked with the Process of Care Research Branch (PCRB), the Health Behaviors Research Branch (HBRB), and the Office of the Associate Director (OAD).
Ms. Hopkins graduated from Fairmont University with a Regents Bachelor of Arts degree and Associate degree in Radio/TV Communication. Ms. Hopkins is very active in the local community and non-profit organizations where she helps to raise money for breast cancer survivors.
