Michele Fisher became a federal employee for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as an Extramural Support Assistant in 2009. Ms. Fisher supports the Health Behaviors Research Branch (HBRB) within the Behavioral Research Program (BRP) in the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS). She prepares domestic and foreign travel arrangements for HBRB and assists with scheduling meetings and conference rooms. She is often involved with special events planning for DCCPS. Ms. Fisher has been participating in the mentoring program where she is learning about the grants process. She attended Bowie State University in Maryland and majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Business.
