Mary O'Connell, M.A., first came to the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in support of the Tobacco Control Research Branch. She then transitioned to the Office of the Associate Director as a Program Analyst and later a Public Health Advisor before beginning her current role as Scientific Program Manager. Ms. O'Connell manages communication activities and provides program analysis and scientific support for the Behavioral Research Program, which is within NCI's Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences.



Current and/or past BRP mentees include Donna Hopkins, Carlos Garrido and Amy Caplon.
